The property was acquired in 2013 and in need of extensive refurbishment. Tile hanging, a feature of its original build period was replaced with weatherboard cladding and the latter half 20th century internal alterations were reconfigured to provide a spacious and modern home. After completion in 2017 it spent less than 1 month on the sales market.
